R\u00e9sum\u00e9 en FR:<\/h3>\n

L\u2019objectif de cet article est d\u2019examiner les fictions qui entourent l\u2019IA, \u00e0 travers quelques-unes de leurs repr\u00e9sentations utopiques et dystopiques, r\u00e9alis\u00e9es dans le champ des arts plastiques. En partant de l\u2019exemple du projet World Brain de Stephan Degoutin et Gwenola Wagon, nous \u00e9tudierons l\u2019inqui\u00e9tude exprim\u00e9e par un certain nombre d\u2019artistes au sujet des cons\u00e9quences \u00e9thiques, philosophiques et politiques de l\u2019application de l\u2019intelligence artificielle \u00e0 plusieurs aspects de la vie. Par ailleurs, nous utiliserons l\u2019id\u00e9e de l\u2019\u00e9cologie cybern\u00e9tique, introduite par le po\u00e8te Richard Brautigan, comme une proposition nous permettant de chercher des pratiques alternatives et des exp\u00e9rimentations qui placent la nature, l\u2019humain et l\u2019IA dans une position \u00e9galitaire. \u00c0 travers l\u2019\u0153uvre de l\u2019artiste et \u00e9crivain James Bridle, nous allons contextualiser l\u2019IA dans une \u00e9thique de respect des intelligences diff\u00e9rentes de la n\u00f4tre, questionnant ainsi l\u2019anthropocentrisme de la philosophie et de l\u2019histoire occidentales.<\/p>\n\n

Abstract EN:<\/h3>\n

The aim of this article is to examine the fictions surrounding AI through some of their utopian and dystopian representations, created in the field of visual arts. Using the example of Stephan Degoutin and Gwenola Wagon\u2019s World Brain project, we will study the concerns expressed by a number of artists about the ethical, philosophical, and political consequences of applying artificial intelligence to several aspects of life. Furthermore, we will use the idea of \u200b\u200bcybernetic ecology, introduced by the poet Richard Brautigan, as a proposition allowing us to seek alternative practices and experiments that place nature, humans, and AI in an egalitarian position. Through the work of the artist and writer James Bridle, we will contextualize AI within an ethic of respect for intelligences different from our own, thus questioning the anthropocentrism of Western philosophy and history.<\/p>\n\n
