FR:<\/h3>\n<p>&#8220;La guerre des images et les images de guerre&#8221;, est une recherche sur les nouvelles politiques de visibilit\u00e9 des guerres contemporaines depuis les ann\u00e9es 1990. Cette recherche s\u2019\u00e9tend \u00e0 la fois sur les technologies de visualisation et de contr\u00f4le \u00e0 distance, sur l\u2019agentivit\u00e9 et l\u2019ind\u00e9pendance de la vision artificielle, sur les changements de la repr\u00e9sentation de guerre apport\u00e9s par l\u2019\u00e8re Internet. Il s\u2019int\u00e9resse \u00e9galement aux strat\u00e9gies m\u00e9diatiques et artistiques pour visualiser les conflits contemporains, et \u00e0 travers des cr\u00e9ations personnelles, il est \u00e9tudi\u00e9 la proximit\u00e9 et la coexistence. De plus, les \u0153uvres examin\u00e9es dans cette recherche proposer une contre-visualit\u00e9 sur la r\u00e9alit\u00e9 guerri\u00e8re et civile. La question de la distance (la g\u00e9ographie relative des guerres \u00e0 distance, la repr\u00e9sentation des conflits \u00e9loign\u00e9s), devient le point de d\u00e9part pour chercher des pratiques artistiques qui examinent la fa\u00e7on dont se manifeste une violence invisible et souvent inaper\u00e7ue par les biais m\u00e9diatiques. Nous observerons les techniques de repr\u00e9sentation \u00e0 travers lesquelles les pratiques documentaires ont remis en question les perceptions dominantes de la guerre, du photojournalisme, des r\u00e9fugi\u00e9s, du n\u00e9cropouvoir, du droit \u00e0 la vie et de l\u2019ennemi.<br> \nLes artistes examin\u00e9s \u00e0 la fois approprient les machines de vision sophistiqu\u00e9es o\u00f9, ils utilisent les sorties graphiques des machines de vision pour un r\u00e9agencement et une usage alternative de celle-ci. Cette recherche s\u2019ach\u00e8ve avec l\u2019analyse des \u0153uvres qui critiquent les applications de la technologie \u00e0 la guerre et \u00e0 la surveillance, ils remettent en question la dominance humaine sur la nature et la technologie et ils proposent de r\u00e9inventer notre relation avec elles, fond\u00e9 sur l\u2019\u00e9galit\u00e9 et sur le soin mutuel.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Mots cl\u00e8s:<\/strong>\nMachine de guerre \/ Machine de vision, N\u00e9cropolitique, Visualit\u00e9 \/ Contre-visualit\u00e9, Vision artificielle, Futurabilit\u00e9, Image num\u00e9rique<\/p><br>\n\n<h3>Abstract EN:<\/h3>\n<p>&#8220;The war of images and the images of war&#8221; is a research of the new politics of visibility since the 1990s of contemporary warfares. The research extends into both the new technologies of visualization and control at distance, the independence and agency of artificial vision, as well as into the transformation of war representations brought by the Internet era. It further investigates the media and artistic strategies attempting to visualize contemporary conflicts, and through personal creations, proximity and coexistence are studied. In addition, the works we focus in this research propose a counter-visuality of war and civil reality. The question of distance (relative geography of war at a distance, perception of far-away conflicts) becomes the starting point for researching innovative artistic practices, which render explicit the new forms of invisible and often unperceived violence, through media. This thesis will present the representational techniques and limits through which contemporary art and documentary questions dominant perceptions of war, photojournalism, refugees, necropower, the right to live and the enemy. The artists examined both appropriate high-tech vision machines or they use them alternatively and rearrange their graphic outputs.
